Emergency medicine TAEI and DNB activities
 Emergency medicine department along with TAEI initiative of government of Tamil Nadu, Inaugurated on 1.06.2018 with objective to reduce the morbidity and mortality of individuals focusing 6 Main pillars of TAEI like Trauma, Poison, STEMI, Stroke, Burns and Pediatric emergencies.
          With advanced infrastructure and efficient faculties available, emergency medicine department of Pudukkottai has acquired level 2 accreditation within 2 years of its inception.
As per G.O
                   2 seats of DNB Emergency medicine allotted per year through centralised merit examination via NEET
                   2019 1^ST Batch of 2 candidates has joined the course.
          Within a year of its initiation mortality rate in TAEI has been reduced significantly and our institution has earned Nation- wide recognition
